This is a rare resource for diet so many of us with digestive issues need to follow all too frequently. I'm grateful for it. The info in the first part of the book is helpful and thorough. The menus in the final section are a real bonus. They give the person on the diet a concrete die of what to eat, not just what to avoid eating. It is wonderful to have six weeks of them, because it means, there are lots of options to choose from. I feel better almost immediately when I have issues and follow a low fiber diet for a period of time, but before this book I was sort of feeling my way. The info from the clinic was OK, but it was just the bare minimum. This fleshed it out and makes the process much easier.

Doctor put me on low fiber diet. I was confused about what was and wasn’t permitted. This book really made things clear. Instead of following the menus day by day I have been using them as a guide enabling me to choose meals that I like but stick strictly to eating as little fiber as possible. Following the menus and lists of low fiber foods, staying with a low fiber diet is somewhat easier then I had been expecting. I am really glad I came across this book. I can honestly recommend it to others on low fiber, low residue diets.

I thought this book provided some useful basic information and cautions to be aware of. I love how the meal plans are created for you but was a little disappointed that there were no recipes provided, but that would not keep me from purchasing this book again. I find that which ever diet I follow my husband will always be a meat and potatoes New Englander and I will be cooking two different meals for supper so I do appreciate the preplanned menus. You can always Google a food list to inform you what you may or may not eat but as rthe author of this book pointed out, that is half the battle, you need to know how it must be prepared as well. Thank you for this providing this resource, there really aren't that many out there.

It helps me understand what I can eat and what I can't. It made it easier to get a better understanding of what it is that I have to be careful about how I eat. Sometime I think we just eat anything and don't care what in it as long as we like it,or if it's good for us we don't know till we get sick.

Would recommend to people coming out of hospital or taking doctor’s orders to follow low fiber diet.Good stepping stone.
