Served its purpose, but very high for something I am returning for you to "sell" again. I get the concept of renting, but geez...affording an education is almost impossible when school books (collectively) cost almost as much as the courses.
In my college’s bookstore this book was being sold for over $200, so I knew I needed to buy it somewhere else. When I received this book it was in great condition. All the pages were in tact and there were little to no markings on the pages. I like how the pages are loose leaf so you can take them out instead of hauling around a huge binder.
you will not be able to use this book in class. it requires an online access code to be able to access more information required for class and that access code is almost $300. better off buying the book new. just ridiculous.
The access code was NOT provided, despite the description saying that it would be included with the textbook.
Things are explained in good order and clarity. Still reading through it. Do I take a test someplace to see if I pass or ? Lots of reading and studying and testing for not getting some piece of paper that will vouche for me knowing the info! Should have been a BS major....no BS!
Poorly written. Students depend on the text for Basic Chemistry. This book is sadly what you must depend on for my school. Really bad.
I actually could have survived without the book. I still haven't used it once for class. But for those who need it, I bought a used one and its a little beat up. However, it's still good enough to inform and educate you in the end and that's what really matters, at least for me
I got this for class and I didn't use it a whole lot, when I did actually use it though, it was informative.
