You know the saying "you can read all the books you want and still not know how to do it" - paraphrasingThis is pretty much a read only book. If you are looking for a step by step or something to challenge you to try a project/problem, this is not it.This book is true garbage.
This isnt one of those Sams "Teach yourself in 21 days" type books if thats what you're looking for. Good for reference. No excercises etc. Jumps around alot which can confuse a beginner.
This is the foundation of resources that I can use to expand on teaching the C# language programming games with Unity. It provides the underlying concept for each statement that my students use to make their program Go!
C # is presented in a progressive and concise fashion.. ends up with coverage of Visual Studio as well..good investment.
Great resource if you need to code in C#
I was enjoying this book till I got to Delegates. I needed a delegate to come and help me wrap my brain around this Dummy content. I can tell there is a lot of great info in this book. I can really tell! (There's a lotta words in there!) It's exhaustive and exhausting! A wee voice cries out from deep within saying, " This is not for dummies!". I guess it all depends on just what kind of dummy you really are. There should be a test for levels of dumminess on their web site. But maybe I got an author that just got there from the Technical Writings of The Braniacs Institute. Healing began when I closed the book. The brain swelling is almost gone, but the book taunts me to open it again. That either goes to the credit of the author or some pain fetish I have. But I actually recommend this book. I would like to see what it does for you - or To you!
